Disclosure: Disclosure: I was requested by the author of this book to give an honest review.
A thrilling story about trying to do the right thing, even when the right people are against you.
This is the story of a man that tries to do the right thing for anyone needing help. It is also the story of the brotherhood of warriors, who bond together to aid each other.
Ty Patterson does a fantastic job describing the life a loner. He also does wonders with a drum of India, called the tabla. I could almost hear the sounds of the drum in my head as I read the story. I found the descriptions of life outside the USA quite good. There are a few grammar mistakes in this book, but they will not detract from the reading experience.
Through “The Warrior”, the author takes us on a journey that is very intense. He gives us a look into atrocities committed in the world, and the men who fight against such crimes.
I can recommend this book to those who read thrillers, as well as those who read military novels. This story ended with an impact I did not expect, and look forward to any sequel. Being a first novel, the author has set a very high standard for himself and I, as a reader, believe he can uphold that standard.
